SITUATION VACANT
Postgraduate Medical Institute, 6-Birdwood Road has required the services of the staff against the following vacant posts on Ad hoc basis for one year who possess required qualifications and experience:-

Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery (BS-18) MBBS, or equivalent medical Qualifications recognized/ registered by the PM&DC.
2. PM&DC level III Qualification in respective subject like FCPS/M.S/M.D
OR
Other equivalent level III qualifications in the specialty approved by SRC and recognized/ registered by the PM&DC.
Three years teaching experience in the respective subject as a senior registrar in a recognized institution if qualification Is general. No experience is required in case of sub-specialty qualification holders.

Assistant Professor of Community Medicine (BS-18) 1. MBBS, or equivalent medical not required qualifications fully recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
2. PM&DC recognized level II b and level III qualification in respective basic subjects
or
Equivalent PM&DC Level II a, b and Level III qualifications the respective specialty approved for teaching by SRC and recognized / registered by PM&DC.
Three years teaching experience as senior lecturer experience before or after Level- II b. No experience is required for Level- III post graduation who can be appointed directly as assistant professor

Deputy Librarian (BS-16) Master Degree in Library Science/information science (2 Division) having 5 years experience in the Medical Library having minimum 10,000/- books.
Or
B.A/B.Sc. plus D.L.Sc./B.I.Sc./ B.L.Sc. in Library science/ information Sciences having 10 years experience in the Medical Library having minimum 1'0,000/- books.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Application on prescribed form obtainable from the Cashier PGMI on payment of Rs. 200/- along with complete bio-data/relevant attested documents should reach in the office of Principal, Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore, 6- Birdwood Road Lahore on or before 25-04-2012.
The candidate should have domicile of Punjab Province and National Identity Card.
The pay and allowances will be according to the pay scales of Government.
Incomplete applications received after due date will not be entertained.
Selection will be made strictly on "Merit" basis.
No TA/DA will be admissible for this purpose.
