Director Administration & Program Support
Responsibilities:
Supervises all procurement related activities and ensures implementation of SOP. Supervises periodic inventory audit and communicates the result to concern. Ensures effective vehicle management of NCHD. Supervises provision of administrative support for NCHD events. Supervises all logistics and travel arrangements of head office (HO) staff. Provides administrative and logistic support for NCHD events. Ensures yearly Master Evaluation plan including HR, procurement and training plans to Director General (DG) for approval. Liaisons with program heads and support departments for timely resolution of administrative issues. Issues a schedule of Operational Review Meetings (ORMs) to be held at provincial level, prior to holding the Monthly Progress Reviews (MPRs) at HO. Physically conducts facilitation visits from HO to provinces and compiles post tour reports for DG. Plans and organizes visits of VIPs and dignitaries (Local b Foreign). Ensures effective management and operations of shared information resources across organization. Monitors the operational status of different MIS systems in field and at HO. Leads and coordinates the development and implementation of integrated strategic IT plans for the Organization and ensures that the information regarding the programs of NCHD is up to date including written materials on websites, DVDs and CDs. Ensures that the back-ups of data on different mediums is taken on regular basis.
An ideal candidate should preferably have Masters degree in Business Administration VMCS/MIT with minimum of at least ten (10) years of relevant experience of handling the administration and support function in large organization(s). The candidate should have advanced MS-Office and IT Skills.
Director Human Resources
Responsibilities:
Manages human resources function and acts as the face of HR for the whole organization and its stakeholders. Works with Human Development Support Unit (HDSU) and HO management to ensure both are staffed to meet short and long term objectives of the organization. Arranges of preparation of all internal and external hiring advertisements on timely basis, forms interview panel and represents HR in the panel interviews. Approves all hiring related communication. Develops, implements, communicates and monitors employee compensation and rewards system. Recommends appropriate actions on all disciplinary cases and conflict resolution matters for which clear policy guidelines are not available. Supervises training and development function of NCHD. Reviews and recommends modifications in HR policies within a specified time frame. Identifies the need of new policies, develops and solicits its approval. Ensures proper implementation, communication and monitoring of performance appraisal system and recommends/finalizes annual increments as per policy. Presents amendments in process flows, job descriptions and SOP manuals of NCHD for approvals. Liaise with External Stakeholders e.g. Insurance Companies, Training Consultants etc.
Ideal candidate should preferably have Masters degree in Business Administration (HR) or equivalent with a minimum of eight (08) years of relevant experience in managing/heading the HR function of a large organization.
General Manager - Internal Audit
Responsibilities:
Plans quarterly audits and issues audit plans. Supervises the Internal Audit process. Prepares detailed report of findings and submits it to the Chairperson for comments. Confirms the corrective actions on the deficiencies identified. Handles day to day queries. Reviews internal control structure of the organization with an aim to stream line the process and procedures to identify gaps (operational, procedural, reporting, communication) and to recommend improvements. Recommending changes in the SOPs of the Organization.
An ideal candidate must be C.A/CIA with at least 08 years of relevant experience in audit/accounting firms. The candidate should also have advanced MS-Office and IT Skills.
General Manager - Communication
Responsibilities:
Develops proposals for NCHD as per the proposed guidelines in view of the requirements of different donors and stakeholders. Ensures that the information regarding programs of NCHD is up to date, including written materials on websites, DVDs and CDs and regular back-ups of data on different mediums are taken on regular basis. Creates awareness of ongoing plans/projects through websites, emails, brochures and newsletters. Coordinates with media for press coverage, print & electronic, of the activities of the organization. Ensures that the NCHD's website is updated periodically. Prepares and executes periodical promotional campaigns to enhance NCHD's visibility at national level. Coordinates all media and event management activities for the organization including dispatching of communication material to all the stakeholders, donor agencies etc.
An ideal candidate should preferably have Masters degree in the Mass Communications or equivalent with a minimum of (04) years of relevant experience in NGOs and Media Agencies.
Consultant - Social Media
Responsibilities:
Acts as media co-coordinator on behalf of NCHD and co-ordinates with media agencies for the release of NCHD news as and when required. Assists in preparation of NCHD media budget. Prepares appropriate press release and ensures its placement in print media. Conduct country wide media visits of journalists to NCHD projects and ensures publications of reports. Acts as a focal person to coordinate with NCHD marketing department. Keeps the record of all video and audio material including cassettes/tapes along with their inventory and co-ordinates with still and video photographer for the coverage of NCHD activities countrywide. Covers NCHD events from media of view in the absence of GM Communication, as and when directed to do so with the support of Media Assistant and produces timely release orders to ad agencies and ensure timely preparation of account vouchers and its clearance from account office.
An ideal candidate should preferably be Masters in Mass Communication or Business Administration, with minimum 3-5 years of media management, media relations and media coordination.
Executive Secretary
Responsibilities:
Manages of outgoing, incoming emails, letters and faxes-official & private. Manages electronic filing and record keeping. Arranges for reservation in hotels and air travel for both domestic and international travel as and when required. Maintaining of contact list(s) electronically as well as manually. Makes arrangements for daily scheduling and routine office correspondence. Drafts office letters and assists in coordination and follow-ups with officials in the secretariat, civil, agencies, foreign delegations and dignitaries as well as Government line departments.
An ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills (MS Office). S/he must also have Bachelors degree with three (3) years of relevant experience in a large organization.
Private Secretary to Chairperson
Responsibilities:
Transcribes correspondence from dictation. Types routine correspondence and reports from dictation or handwritten copy using personal computer. Opens sorts and screens mail, picks up and delivers materials as required. Answers telephone, screens callers, relays messages, and greets visitors and dissertations. Maintains calendar, schedules appointments and meeting rooms, makes travel and accommodation arrangements. Management of incoming/outgoing e-mails b letters/faxes of the Chairperson. Management of electronic filing and other record keeping. Arrangements regarding reservation of hotels and of air travel both domestic & international. Maintenance of telephone and electronic contact list. Coordination of functions with other departments. Assists in coordination with official, foreign delegations and dignitaries and Follow-up of assignments of management team designated by the Chairperson.
