Azad Jammu & Kashmir Technology Board
was established in 2001 under an act of AJK Legislative Assembly. Board has initiated many IT projects i.e. Establishment of 274 IT labs and automation of Government department. AJK Information Technology Board under its vision of E-Government is seeking applications from AJK nationals to fill the following vacant posts on ad hoc basis:-
Network 1 Database Administrator (01) BPS-17
DSCS.MCS/MIT or equivalent
03 years experience of installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Web / Application Database Servers, and other client or server software packages, at organization(s) of good repute.
To define and implement Network / Application Security Policies and procedures.
Provide support regarding network related issues like connectivity with servers, PCs and other equipment on the LAN / WAN with the implementation of layered security.
Experience of working on Circle Data Base handling replication in DB, Database Optimization and Database recovery.

03 years experience of Web Development/ Managing, Hosting in. Net, HTML, etc.
Well aware of cascading style Sheets.
Full aware of Latest web technology.
Development experience of Online applications etc.
System Administrator(OI) BPS-17
BSCS,MCS/MIT or equivalent
03 years experience of installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Web /
Application Database Servers, and other client or server software packages, at
organization(s) of good repute.
Depth knowledge of the network topologies, tools, and techniques.
To define and implement Network / Application Security Policies and procedures
To configure Antivirus software at server level, and downloading the patches and DAT file through a centralized management system.
Provide support regarding network related issues like connectivity with servers, PCs and other equipments on the LAN / WAN after the implementation of layered security.
Experience of working on Oracle Data Base handling replication in DB, Database Optimization and Database recovery.

Experience with Website Design and Updates while look & feel
Good working knowledge of Photoshop, Dream viewer, Corel Draw.
Abilities to meet light deadlines.
Terms & Conditions:
Selection will be purely on ad hoc basis, initially for six months which may be extended on the basis of performance / evaluation. The applications along with CV and attested copies of certificates / degrees and two passport size photographs should reach in the office of the undersigned within (15) days of the first publication of this advertisement.
