Planning and Development Department , Government of Punjab in collaboration with International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has launched the " Southern Punjab Poverty Alleviation Project (SPPAP)" in four district of Punjab i.e. Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Mazaaffagarh, and Rajanpur, The project will focus on poverty alleviation through asset sectors. The project will be implemented by a Project Management Unit (PMU) based at Bahawalpur and Three District Management Units (DMUs) at Bahawalnagar, Mazaffargarh and Rajanpur in association with private sector partners and community organization
